The Summer and Easter Camps at La Gubía Equestrian Club offer children and young people the opportunity to enjoy a different kind of holiday, surrounded by nature, horses, and new friends in a safe and stimulating environment.
Each day combines riding lessons, activities with ponies and horses, learning about their care, games, workshops, and group activities designed to encourage social interaction, independence, and teamwork. Our aim is for participants to learn while having fun and develop a relationship with horses based on respect and animal welfare.
Groups are organised according to age and experience level, allowing both beginners and regular club students to enjoy a programme adapted to their needs. All activities are led by a professional team with extensive experience in equestrian education and working with children.
More than just a camp, La Gubía offers an experience that leaves a lasting impression. Many of our students discover their passion for horses here and return year after year to continue learning, sharing experiences, and becoming part of our equestrian family.
For parents who start work earlier or finish later, we also offer early drop-off and extended pick-up options, providing greater flexibility for families.
For our competition students, we periodically organise specialised competition weeks, focused on developing skills and knowledge that are not always covered during the school year.
Participants learn about competition horse care, measuring distances, horse braiding, preparing horses for transportation, course design, and planning exercises, gaining a deeper understanding of everything involved in preparing for competition.
