La Gubía Equestrian Club was founded in 2005, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, a privileged natural setting recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Originally conceived as a high-performance equestrian centre, the club initially focused exclusively on riders competing at an advanced level. However, over the years, its founders identified significant gaps in fundamental training among many riders, limiting their development and sporting performance.
Driven by this experience and also by their perspective as parents, they decided to create a riding school in Mallorca focused on building strong foundations from the very beginning.
This vision gave rise to the Guiza Method, a unique training system that integrates technical development, values, and psychomotor and emotional education. Its philosophy is based on the belief that great athletes are built from the ground up, and that equestrian sport can be a powerful tool for the education and personal development of children and young people.
